Oakland Athletics, New Stadium or their out!

The athletics have wanted a new stadium for years, To leave Oakland coliseum, Formerly shared with the Raiders until the 2020 season, when they moved to Vegas. The Athletics have been pushing for a new, Waterfront stadium in Oakland since early 2018, when the original plans were unveiled to to public. Multiple plans and locations have been Offered, but Oakland will not give the go-ahead to build. and with the A’s coliseum contract expiring in 2024, Oakland’s last professional sports team might be gone within the same year. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has made a statement, that while he is interested in a MLB Team expansion, The A’s and Rays both need new stadiums before That can an expansion can become a reality. If Oakland won’t budge, there are quite a few locations that the commissioner and the A’s have their eyes on, Including Las Vegas, San Jose, Portland, Vancouver, Nashville, Charlotte, and Montreal. Vegas is the most likely location for them to move to Following the NFL’s Raiders and the NHL’s Golden Knights.
